Job description
In the Corrugated Cardboard Machine department, corrugated cardboard sheets of various types and qualities are made from paper rolls. The quality produced depends on customer demand. The corrugated cardboard sheets are ultimately processed by the processing department, including printing and die-cutting, into finished products. The Corrugated Cardboard Machine department operates in 3 shifts. You and your team are responsible for the qualitative and quantitative production of the corrugated cardboard machine. As a machine operator, it is important that you can work independently on a part of the corrugated cardboard machine within a short time (2 to 3 months) according to the applicable standards of quantity and quality. Because you have the capacity to operate all machine components of the corrugated cardboard machine, you have continuous opportunities for advancement and new challenges in your work.


• Checking the presence of necessary supplies (paper, tape, glue, etc.).
• Setting up the installation/adjusting machine components (glue feed, braking) according to procedures.
• Monitoring the process (visually and from the screen).
• Performing standard measurements (including viscosity measurements).
• Identifying quality deviations and abnormal values, correcting within control limits.
• Identifying deviations and malfunctions in the installation.
• Performing minor repairs (such as refilling the oil level) and resolving minor process disturbances.
• Assisting with maintenance activities.
• Recording (production) data on control lists/forms.

What we expect from you
• You have a vocational education (MBO) level, preferably a technical background (e.g., Operator A or B).
• Willingness to undergo internal training.
• Good command of the Dutch language in both speech and writing.
• You are motivated and show visible initiative.
• You are quick to learn (you can quickly grasp new things) and results-oriented.
• You are able to work well in a team.
• Experience with machine production is a plus.
• Experience with PC operation and programs in a production environment.
• Familiarity with corrugated cardboard products is a plus.
